about Nicolas Donck

Having pioneered the organic farming movement in our area and bringing over 30 years of farming experience with a degree in international business, Nicolas owns and operates, Crystal Organic Farm, one of the oldest and largest organic farms in the region at the root of the Farm to Table movement in Metro Atlanta.

BUT, what does a farmer enjoy when not farming?

-Speaking four languages, Nicolas immigrated to the United States at 15 years old. He has a passion for travel, exploring new places and meeting new people. He has even traveled on volunteer missions to Africa to help farmers to use more organic methods in their farming practices.

-Nicolas is an avid reader in multiple languages, enjoys biking, yoga, meditation, hiking, cooking and eating local food.

-Self-care is super in farming and something that must be ‘scheduled’ into this work. Nicolas recognizes and speaks to the importance of this often to new and seasoned farmers alike.
